Windswept Vistas

We truly enjoyed our stay at Windswept Vistas. The house was roomy, very clean & well kept. The amenities were great. We used both the hot tub and fire pit several times during our stay. The location was great being near town, but also private and quiet. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Windswept Vista was wonderful!! Each bedroom had a beautiful view of the mountains, and it was a bonus to have private bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of room for our group of 8. We had an excellent stay!

Our group of 8 had a great time at the house while in Boone for a wedding. Plenty of space - we loved the personal balconies/decks for each room. And, the game room downstairs was fun for late night ping pong. We'd rebook! Great location for ASU and Blowing Rock.

This was a quaint house that accommodated five families for a relaxing weekend. The hot tub was a fan favorite. Also fun at night to watch the stars and have a campfire. The check-in was a little rough as we had gotten a incorrect code, but easily remedied with the management office, giving us a new code. It was a great location very close to grandfather mountain which we hiked during the day. Also close to the downtown where we were able to grab dinner and drinks. Overall a lovely place. Highly recommend.

The photos are exactly what you see when you walk in. Beautiful cabin and property that is perfect for rest and relaxation. Just a few minutes out of Boone, you are away from traffic and noise, completely surrounded by nature.

Beautiful well built and designed cabin near Boone close to App State and several outdoor recreation (skiing, ice skating, tubing). Lots of open space for large gatherings. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom so there was a real feeling of privacy in addition to the openness. Cabin is well stocked with games, puzzles, and movies.

My husband and I rented this property for our 25th wedding anniversary and invited 6 of our closest friends. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. There was a beautiful fire pit outside which we used every evening. The property was easy to get to and close to the town of Boone. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and kitchen ware. The common areas were cosy and comfortable. I would recommend this property to friends.

Beautiful, immaculate, cozy cabin nestled at the end of the street with amazing views from the many balconies. Wildlife was fun to see. Festive Christmas decorations with trees in all the bedrooms. Game room in basement has many fun games, including ping pong, for family fun. Fully stocked kitchen. Wonderful experience and enjoyed our Christmas celebration with our family. Would definitely rent again.

My family and I had a great time at Windswept Vista. The cottage was beautiful, clean, spacious, and warm. So many amenities and supplies available in the kitchen to cook with. The only thing we would change is hanging around longer. I'm going to continue to reserve cottages and cabins through Blue Ridge Mountains Rental.

My family and I stayed here from2/18/21-2/21/21 and the home was amazing! Very cozy, many games for the kids to play. Kitchen was stocked with cookware and serving ware. Bedrooms were clean, beds were comfortable and baths clean and adequate. Over all would stay here every vacation trip to Boone.

Great place to stay. The upstairs and basement are both great areas to hang out in. The road up to house is quite an adventure so make sure you are driving a car that can handle a steep mountain road.

Windswept Vista was a beautiful cabin, very well equipped and clean. We had a slight problem with the door lock upon arrival but it was quickly fixed. Our whole family loved this cabin and we would definitely stay there again.

This house was amazing! The location was absolutely perfect, close to town if you needed anything as well as close distance to many hiking trails. It was located at the end of a winding road which was great so we did not have to hear any cars driving by during the day or at night. The view out of the back of the house was beautiful, even on foggy days. The house was beautiful, clean and very well stocked. We had 6 adults staying here and we all had ample room to ourselves as well as a great space for gathering in the living room. Having the extra kitchen/refrigerator on the lower level was great for our food overflow. The house gives you a starter kit of items (soap, detergent, paper towels, toilet paper) which was great to get us started and in some areas got us through the week. Blue ridge rentals were easy to get in touch with and were extremely helpful with looking at things to do while we were there. The hot tub was just what we needed after days of hiking, great location on the lower level, shielded from the rain. The fire pit was just great and the firewood we were able to order ahead of time and have at our arrival was perfect. I would highly recommend this house to families or larger groups, it was absolutely amazing!

The house was amazing. We had 6 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room. The location is very central and worked well for us as we went to Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. We love being in Boone and close to all of the restaurants. The basement area of the house is great and like a little separate apartment. We had a great experience and can't wait to go back!

Cabin was outstanding. Very spacious with 'luxury-level' amenities - showers, tubs, towels, etc. Had everything you need for a mountain vacation. There are neighbors close to the property, yet they were quiet and did not impact our enjoyment.

Enjoyed the stay as vacation rental owners ourselves we appreciated the extra touches like soaps and shampoo, tasteful decorations, cleanliness , and great communication. We will be back, a fenced yard for the pups is a must and they loved it. Elk River Fallls is amazing Swimming area , beautiful drive, well worth the 50 min trip. Eat at Moon- great sushi and Thi food and we are picky foodies, skip the purple onion, the alpine coaster was a lot of fun also. Lots to do, shopping in Blowing Rick is cute and quaint. We really enjoyed our stay at Windswept Vistas! When you stay at a property it's the little things that really set properties apart. We checked in two days after Christmas and the entire cabin was very nicely decorated for the holidays providing a very comforting feeling instead of the typical sterile environment. I would highly recommend this cabin and hope that we can keep this worked into our "must visit" places!

This cabin was perfect. There was eight of us and we never felt crowded. We enjoyed having two full kitchens and everyone couple had their own full bathrooms. The firepit and hot tub was a bonus during our stay. We will be going back again next year for our annual family mountain trip.

Great cabin! Great company! Great service! This was our first stay at Windswept Vistas. We loved the view and serenity. Terrific for “navigating out of the rat race.” You really do feel like you are alone and away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I don’t think you can go wrong with Blue Ridge. They are easy to deal with and extremely friendly! The road up to the cabin is so picturesque and it is only 10-15 minutes from downtown Boone. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could imagine you would need. There is a washer and dryer inside the cabin. We also used the hot tub near the fire pit. The WiFi was on the slow side and our ATT cell phones were not very functional. But that is to be expected in secluded mountains.

I highly recommend Windswept Cabin! My husband and I just spent a week with two other couples and two kids and had a fabulous time. The space is open and comfortable. We played games, ate awesome food and talk, talk talked. The personal bathrooms were an extra plus. The scenery is beautiful and Boone Downtown is so close, easy to make a run out and back. Sugar Mt is not too far and was so much fun. We were here during snow; Snaggy Mt Rd is plowed, but the turn-off to the cabin is not and is a little tricksy. We have a VW Golf, and we did OK, but my husband is from PA and has experience driving in the snow. The others had a 4x4 and did not have any trouble. A beautiful, very clean, comfortable retreat. We had a great family vacation. Skied at Sugar (20 min drive) and SkiApp (10-15 min drive) so this cabin was a great location. Beautifully decorated, plenty of space and fun family additions like a hot tub, huge fireplace and ping pong table to enjoy after a long day skiing.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home. Upon arrival we found the home clean and in excellent condition. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. After a storm and loosing electricity the management company called to check on us and make sure everything was okay. The electricity was restored within a hour so all was well. We will definitely plan on staying again. Our family enjoyed our time there and hope to make it an annual trip.

We rented this place for our family vacation and it was perfect! The house looks like its pictures which was surprising for me and awesome. We are a family of 6 which includes our 2 teenage grandkids. Everyone had their own space and T.V. But we also had family time which included a ping pong tournament every night and marshmallows at the fireplace. The hot tub was also great and another favor feature was we were able to take our dogs and because the backyard was fenced in they were able to run free. Lastly, it is truly tucked away.... Yet convenient to everything. I highly recommend!
