The Smore the Bearier

Welcome to The S'more the Bearier! This three bedroom, three bathroom mountain home is located in a gated community near Boone.  It features multiple fireplaces, a fenced yard, and a variety of games to entertain your group!

King Suite with TV, fireplace, ceiling fan, walk in closet.  Attached tile shower with double vanities. 
Bedroom 2
Two Full beds with a TV, ceiling fan, and large closet.  Full bath in hall offers a tub/shower and vanity.

One Full bed with a TV, ceiling fan.  Full bath in hall offers a tub/shower and vanity.  

Entertainment inside and out for the whole family!  Play a game of ping pong or air hockey on the converting game table, or the basketball arcade.  The game room has multiple game TVs to watch several games at once.  Each bedroom has a TV and there are seven total in this home.  Bluetooth enabled speakers are available in both the sitting and living rooms for devices or TV sound streaming.  Put your feet up in the reclining furniture, and grab some popcorn to enjoy a movie together!

Need to check a few emails during your stay?  The King bedroom and each Full bedroom, have a desk workstation.  

We offer 5 electric fireplaces throughout the home.  On the warm summer evenings, turn on the ambience setting to add a charming atmosphere, without the added heat.  On cool winter nights, warm up while sipping your cocoa.  

Relax out on any of the three porches while listening to the birds sing, or the crickets chirp. 

Head out and roast s'mores and share memories by either of the two firepits that are offered for you to enjoy!  Outdoor dining seating is by the grill for a convenient space to have a cookout.  

We offer a fenced yard as well as a fenced in front porch which are both perfect for convenience, safety and for your family and dog travelers to burn off some energy!

Guests may use the garage to park one vehicle. We also have a spacious paved driveway for ample parking.  

Looking to stay longer during a quieter time of year? Stays of 5 or 6 nights outside of summer, fall, and holiday dates automatically receive 10% off posted rates!

IMPORTANT NOTES
- We are very pet friendly!  We have both a fenced in front porch as well as a fenced in yard.  We offer dog crate furniture for ease of travel for pet owners.  We welcome a max of 2 dog travelers of any weight or breed.  Mature, well trained, and please use dog beds or crates.  Thank you for not allowing your pets on the beds!  Pet rent is $25+tax per pet per night. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice for $25 per night plus taxes. This provides two wrapped bundles of wood and a firestarter per nightly bundle.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo,  conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens are provided.

- All bedrooms offer Smart TVs.  All TVs are streaming
- Main roads are plowed in the winter. 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. 
- Check-in is 4pm.  Checkout is 10am
- Driveway has security camera mounted to the left side of the garage, also a door bell style security camera monitors the main entryway.  No cameras are point at the interior of the property or common gathering areas.  

CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of he deposit.
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
