Northern Exposure features an open great room that flows seamlessly into the fully stocked kitchen and dining area, and then out to a covered outdoor sitting area on the large main level deck. Wide panel, distressed hardwood floors throughout the main living area are paired with the stacked Tennessee fieldstone of the floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace, all framed by a tongue and groove Heart of Pine cathedral ceiling. Exquisite granite counters, top of the line stainless steel appliances and bar seating make for an impressive yet very comfortable kitchen, perfect for entertaining family and friends.

The main level of Northern Exposure offers a full guest suite, as well as laundry. Upstairs you’ll find a large loft looking out to the phenomenal mountain views and step through the authentic barn-style doors to the master suite with attached office area, perfect for working remotely. The master bath features beautifully textured counter surfaces and an exquisitely tiled shower. The loft offers Foosball and Ping Pong for night time and rainy day games. The property is also just steps away from the exciting amenities of The Sportsman’s Lodge, featuring a basketball court, boulder-lined soccer field and open pavilion area.

The Lodges at Eagles Nest is a world-class 3,000+ acre master-planned development with altitudes over 5,200 feet framed by spectacular 360-degree mountain views as far as the eye can see.  The natural features of the property include acres upon acres of undeveloped green space and pastures, rushing streams, waterfalls, massive boulder formations, abundant wildlife and much more.

This is our second visit to the Northern Exposure home and, again, we had an awesome vacation week. The back porch was our favorite space to relax and enjoy the views. Angie as a customer service rep was awesome and very helpful during our stay. We can't wait until next years visit!

Back to the mountains
Back in 2020 we spent xmas and new years in Banner Elk. We had to go back this 2023/24. We stayed in the same community, Eagles Nest, we visited local restaurants, coffee shops and did some shopping. It never ceased to impress. It snowed, the weather was xmas card perfect. The cabin was clean, organized and perfect. We will come back soon, we are in love with this place.

The Most Magical Weekend
We finally timed it right and caught a snowstorm during our weekend trip. This house was amazing and the location was PERFECTION for sledding! My kids had the best time and we enjoyed grilling out and cooking meals at the house while enjoying the snow!

We stayed for 2 months and loved every minute of it. Beautiful house with magnificent view. Enchanted area and the community. And the owners were so gracious. Joanie from the Management company is just the best. She gets back to us right away. This is the second time for us with her and her company. Everything was perfect.

Gorgeous View, a Little Piece of Heaven!
I enjoyed the amazing mountain view and serenity of Northern Exposure. The house was clean, nicely decorated and it was a great place to escape to for a few days. I woke up to a family of deer in the front yard and loved my morning coffee on the lovely back porch which has a beautiful view of the mountains. Great location and lovely hosts!

Beautiful Home With Lots to Do!
My husband and I loved our stay in this cabin! The sofa and beds were comfy, the appliances and bathrooms were outstanding, and the view off the porch was lovely. A short walk from the cabin is a sportsman's lodge and a dog park, which our two dogs happily explored. Also near the cabin is a winery and an ATV rental place. Within 20 minutes, there's lots to do -- downtown Banner Elk has restaurants and shops to visit, ziplining and tubing outfitters, and Elk River Falls is a short hike (10 minutes) with a gorgeous waterfall at the end. Definitely a great cabin in a perfect location!

Beautiful home with lots to do!
My husband and I loved our stay in this cabin! The sofa and beds were comfy, appliances and bathrooms were outstanding, and the view was lovely. Across the street is a sportsmans lodge and a dog park, which our two dogs happily explored. Also very close to the cabin is a winery and an ATV rental place. It takes maybe 10 minutes to get to the cabin from the main gate, but the views along the way are spectacular and the property is beautiful. It doesn't take long to get to downtown Banner Elk, and there are lots of fun things to do within 20 mintues of the cabin (a short hike at Elk River Falls, ziplining, tubing, etc). The property managers were also very helpful and responsive to our needs. I'd recommend this to anyone!

Beautiful View
Clean, modern and well equipped, this house was a great place to stay. Loved the porch and the view. Construction next door was annoying but not too bad inside the house
