Moonlight Lodge

Moonlight Lodge is the perfect property for enjoying everything we love about a mountain getaway. From coffee in front of the fireplace to grilling on the large front porch, resting tired hiking legs in the hot tub to enjoying the stars by the firepit (in the most comfortable Adirondack chairs), this property is perfect from sunup to sundown. With the most well-equipped kitchen we have experienced in a vacation rental, we ended up cooking every meal at Moonlight. Our son especially enjoyed the flattop griddle for breakfast and dinner. The guesthouse provided a great hangout for teenagers. Wonderful location, with short drives to Boone and West Jefferson yet plenty of the quiet mountain setting we enjoy. We made so many great memories here!

The most perfect spot, about a 20 minute drive to the busy. Loved the cozy feeling and beautiful views. The hot tub was a plus and the kitchen had every appliance you could ever need. We enjoyed our long weekend!

I do not know how to thank you for letting us stay at Moonlight Lodge. Only the Lord knows how bad I needed those days alone in the woods, the quiet time, the beauty of nature, the sunrises, and the colorful mountain, the song of the creek and birds, and the nature walks. All of it was restoration to my body and soul. The wonderful long evenings together. It was so peaceful and quiet. We so enjoyed and needed this time. We could not have stayed in a better place. With all my heart I thank you.

Great cabin with awesome amenities. Very clean. Comfortable beds, furniture inside and out. Nice view of mountain and some wildlife out back. Great place for quiet and relaxing times after hiking and exploring the areas. Had trouble with water on our last day, but customer care stepped up along with the owners and put us into another wonderful place for the last day. It also is a beautiful cabin with great amenities. Will rent here again in the future. First cabin is Moonlight Lodge and the second is Whispering Pines.

The cabin was very clean and the reservation process was flawless. Great communication. Located convenient to W Jefferson and Boone and easy to find. Minor problem with door code upon checking in but was quickly resolved by rental agent. Nice fire ring and hot tub. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend for famlies

We had an amazing time at this place. The cabin is very well stocked and we had everything we needed for our long weekend in the mountains. The instructions and recommendations from the host were clear and helpful. We would definitely return and we would highly recommend the cabin.

We enjoyed our week long stay at Moonlight Lodge. We enjoyed the mountain view, the hot tub, fire pit and our teenage kids loved the guest house. The home is fully stocked with all necessary utensils, pots and pans, cups, silverware and appliances. We also enjoyed the different coffee/espresso making options. We would recommend this cabin and would absolutely stay here again. We experienced multiple seasons with spring (70's) at the beginning of the week and winter snow at the end. Fantastic family vacation.

This place was a 10/10 experience. Beds were comfy, everything easy to use, super cute, hot tub was excellent, views pretty, fun to walk around the neighborhood, everything you could possibly want/ need was there.

The cabin was great, perfect for our short weekend stay. The hot tub, fire pit and tiny house were great additions to the cabin itself. The home was clean and the amenities offered were lovely. We didn't have to bring much with us for the stay. They offered many different options for morning coffee or espresso which was a plus. It was completely relaxing despite the rainy weather.

I had an incredible time during my stay at this cabin! The natural beauty surrounding the property was breathtaking. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our Moonlight Lodge stay was wonderful. This cabin is very well appointed, close to Boone, Blowing Rock, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We hiked every day and had good options to cook at home or be close enough to dine out. Highly recommend this cabin for the Boone Area.

The property couldn't have been more perfect for our stay! It was cozy, well appointed, and super clean! We were 2 moms with our 4 kids and the little cabin in the back was the perfect “kids'cabin” The fire pit and backyard with the view was so lovely for morning coffee and night time s'mores. Plus I could not possibly forget to mention the sky view from the hot tub! Milky Way and millions of stars while soaking in a crystal clear, clean and warm hot tub! It was perfection after a day of hiking, gem mining and exploring! We had a slight hiccup getting into the cabin late night the first night. The code was not working and without a cell signal at the house we were a little panicked having to drive around a dark mountain top to find a signal to call. Luckily the staff at Blue Ridge were so incredibly responsive and we were able to get in pretty quick.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin! The location was perfect for what we were looking to do on our short weekend get away. It was quiet, clean, and surrounded by nature. I booked this cabin for a birthday getaway and it was exactly what I hoped it'd be. Great communication from the rental company. House was thoroughly cleaned and had all the kitchen appliances/tools we needed to cook. Best surprise was the size of the TV, made for great movie watching.

We loved our stay at Moonlight Lodge! We chose this location for our annual dog-mom getaway and it was perfect! The home was clean and stocked to support cooking meals. We found serenity on the porch with our morning coffee and around the fire in the evenings. It was convenient to hiking and a winery in the area for daytime adventures. We look forward to staying again!

We had such an amazing stay! We came for a festival, my husband and I and a friend that had moved away. We enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness! The beds were more comfy than my bed at home! Everything was top notch and when we had a question we got an answer almost immediately. Already looking to book this property again next year! Highly recommend!

Moonlight Lodge was absolutely wonderful, peaceful and cozy. It had all the amenities you could possibly want and more! For a person who cares about small details and cleanliness, like myself, the cabin exceeded every expectation. We will be back! 10/10 recommend.

Lovely cabin for two people. The hot tub was very nice, and there were more kitchen utensils and cookware than we usually find in cabins. In fact, the whole place was well supplied.

This cabin was perfect for a girls getaway! The location was peaceful, quiet and had great views but you were still only 30 minutes to Boone. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need (we especially loved the variety of spices). We also loved the massive TV with all the streaming services. Cabin was well decorated and clean. Easy check in process and owner was very communicative.

This Cabin is top on our favorite list , was cute , cozy , and so well equipped with modern appliances. It was all decorated for Christmas ?? ??? The Cabin had near by water creeks at walking distance, we saw a lot of deers ? close to the cabin. Close to So many attractions , close to Boone NC , and all the major ski ?? Resorts. Host comunicación,instructions and suggestions were great. Highlight of our trip , waking up and seeing everything so white and a snowy beautiful day ???? We will definitely book this Cabin in the future !

Beautiful cabin perfect for a small group. The living room is big enough for four people. The kitchen was great! They had seasonings, cookware, pans, aluminum foil, cutting boards etc. The hot tub was very relaxing and the fire pit was lovely at night. This is a great choice if you want to be close enough to go to Boone or Blowing Rock. The driveway is steep so definitely recommend having 4 wheel drive. The cabin was also decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch.

We wanted a two night getaway in the NC mountains and we found the Moonlight Lodge. I can't say how much we enjoyed our stay. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect getaway for a family of four or two couples. The lodge is not only immaculate inside but has everything you would ever need. Beautiful kitchen with every utensil and gadget you would need. The great room has a nice fireplace with a big screen TV. Main bedroom on the first floor with a king bed and another bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom. Outside they have a huge hot tub and a fire pit with 6 lounge chairs overlooking the beautiful mountainside and a perfect view of the stars. On top of how great the lodge is the owners are even better. They accommodated everything we asked of them. They definitely went above and beyond. Would highly recommend the Moonlight Lodge and can't wait to return myself.

We had a delightful stay here. It is decorated perfectly and they have thought of everything! The fire pit with four Adirondack chairs are perfect and it has a big field that the kids can run around in or play outdoor games. The view is amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at it drinking morning The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We will definitely stay there again.
