Hook wine and sinker was in a great location. Close to everything we wanted to see. Perfect lodge in great condition and the community is close and staff are helpful. We will return at some point.

Really enjoyed my extended stay in this cabin - very peaceful, quiet, and the fireplace gets toasty. The kitchen countertop space is rather tiny (as you can see in the photos) so that may be a challenge in you plan on doing lots of cooking. There is a fair amount of light that comes in through the sheer curtains so if you are sensitive to light when sleeping, be sure to bring an eye mask. The hosts are responsive and helpful.

Perfect location for a weekend trip to attend a wedding. I only wish I had more time to enjoy all the hiking and restaurants that were recommended by Blue Ridge. I loved the privacy in the gated neighborhood and was thankful for the instructions because this was my first time to the area. The place was clean and I would definitely recommend.

Great little cabin in a very cool little community of Fish Camp. This property is just outside the main gate of Eagle’s Nest and only 5 minutes to downtown Banner Elk. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends. We’ll def be back to the area in the summer!

We had a very nice stay
We had a very nice stay. You know the rental Is a good one when you're stuck inside on a bad weather day and it's comfortable hanging around the house. Beds were the first comfortable ones for us in a long time.

We stayed at Hook & Wine Cabin and absolutely loved it! Very clean, welcoming and cozy. Fireplace kept us warm and the home had everything we needed, including a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolate! The cabin was close to grocery stores, sugar mountain ski resort and local restaurants & shops. Can't wait to go back.

Very clean, and beautiful design. The location is an easy drive to the slopes and Banner Elk. Too much snow will mean you need chains, AWD, and a bit of acceleration to access the cabin. Highly recommend as long as you are cool driving up a mountain to ski no matter the weather.

We absolutely loved Hook, Wine, & Sinker
We absolutely loved Hook, Wine, & Sinker over the July 4th weekend. The property looked brand new and was plenty of room for my mom and me. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom and we loved sitting out in the rocking chairs in the evenings. The kitchen was tight but we made it work. The house could use a larger garbage can and table for meals but we did fine. The house is close to downtown Banner Elk and Eagle's Nest really put on a show for the 4th. The concert, food trucks, kid's activities, and awesome fireworks made for one of the nicest July 4ths we've had in a while. Will definitely come back!!
