Our two families from the North and the South came together here for a family reunion to enjoy all the sites and activities around us. This house was in the perfect location to do all these things as well as explore other areas. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch discussing the day’s adventures while the children enjoyed the pool table. Plenty of room for the 9 of us to eat meals together. Thank you for making this possible.

Honey bear Haven was more than we expected. House is huge. Plenty of parking, especially for the mountains. No hassle check in. House was very clean. Sofa down stairs need some tlc but was very comfortable for our crew. Pool table a big plus. Blue Ridge mountain rentals very easy to deal with and accommodating. Thanks guys

Beautiful cabin, clean, plenty of room. The kitchen was fully stocked. The family loved the pool table. Great location, close to everything. I do wish the fireplace upstairs was working. I will definitely stay here again.

This cabin is a warm, very cozy cabin with all hardwood floors and paneling throughout. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pans and utensils. We stayed there with our three families, each having their own private bathroom. The location is easily accessible, with a short drive to Grandfather Mountain and Boone. It does not have a mountain view, but is nestled in the woods in a gated community. This is our second stay in this cabin and would stay there again.

Great location that’s only 30min to Beech Mtn ski resort and 25 min to Appalachian ski resort. Only 10min to Boone where you can find anything you need. Twin Rivers is a gated community that feels safe. Even when there was ice & snow the roads were clear & gravel driveway made it easy to access. There’s a circular drive and unload is easy right through the first floor. Pool table was fun. Kitchen well stocked. Heat system was great & even if it was cooler downstairs that had portable heaters. Would definitely recommend for families and friends.

We loved the house and the location! It was well appointed, big yet cozy, close to everything we needed to get to. It's a beautiful neighborhood. You feel like your further away from things than you really are. There was plenty of parking. We loved the fire pit! The kitchen was spacious with nice appliances and we loved the dining table! The fire place inside was absolutely beautiful and easy to operate with the remote. We would definitely come back. Oh and it was very clean.

The location was good for our large group. Pool table, firepit and large open kitchen was a hit, more chairs around the pit would be nice. House was well stocked and clean. The exterior doors need maintenance.

We had a wonderful stay at Honey Bear Haven with our extended family. Everyone had ample space to call their own or we could comfortable enjoy one space together. The kids spent almost all their time outside enjoying the enormous wrap around porch, spending time by the fire pit or exploring the yard. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and was great to prepare family meals. The location allowed us to either retreat to staying at the home and simply enjoy family time or easily get out to explore all the Boone/Banner Elk area had to offer. We went hiking and fishing. Rode the alpine coaster and spent the day at Tweetsie Railroad. The whole family agreed, our next vacation to the Boone/Banner Elk area will be spent at Honey Bear Haven!

Great location near hiking, shopping, tubing etc. The property is tucked away giving you that cabin in the woods feeling. Plenty of room to spread out. The pool table was a big hit and the huge porch was wonderful. We would stay here again.

We planned a last minute trip from Texas to visit our family. We came across this rental that seemed perfect for our stay. It exceeded all expectations. From a fully stocked kitchen baby gear comfy beds gas grill for outdoor cooking to a nice fire pit area and a beautiful wrap around porch! This was our family's first trip ever and we were beyond impressed with our stay! We will definitely be back in the future!

This property was perfect for our family and friends to gather for my son's graduation. The home is beautiful and was clean when we arrived. There was plenty of room for all of us to hang out and not feel crowded. It was nice having the pool table down stairs, The only thing I would suggest is that it would be nice to have more seating in the down stairs living area near the pool table. We hated to leave and are already looking forward to booking again. Everyone that we dealt with at Blue Ridge Rentals were more than accommodating from the moment we booked. Overall this was a great place to stay and great people to work with. We highly recommend.

We loved the house. It is beautiful and in a great location. The big deck is great for socializing and taking in the view. The beds were good and the bathrooms a nice size. We enjoyed the cute cottage- style decorating. We did have a few minor issues: You need to do something about the large black ants. They were everywhere—including in our food! The gas fireplace didn’t work. We couldn’t use the water dispenser on the fridge because it leaked water all over when we did. The garbage pail rack needs repair—we had a very hard time getting it in and out. All of these are easy fixes, but we thought we should let you know about them. We never used the firewood since the only place we could find to burn it was the outside fireplace, which wasn’t convenient—so consider the extra wood we ordered a gift to the next person. We certainly loved the house and would stay there again!

This cabin is large enough for 7 extended family members to get together for a long weekend and have a little fun. Never felt like we were on top of each other. Has a pool table which we enjoyed and an instant on fire place inside. There is an outside wood fireplace but we did not use it. The porch was expansive and we could have sat out there all day. Quiet but close to everything. Visit the Tomato Shack and the Ham Shoppe if you visit nothing else. Antique shops are great as well. This cabin was very comfortable to come home to. Would definitely stay again! P.S. Blue Ridge was nothing but accommodating from the moment we booked. Great to deal with and super fast on responses. Never had a worry while we were there.

This was a beautiful home and a great place for a large group to gather. Plenty of room for me and my husband, our three kids and their spouses, and three grandkids. Yet it was also spacious enough that individuals could find a place for a little quiet time. The large wrap around deck was a delightful place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. And our 18 month old and 2 year old grandkids loved having a place to run back and forth! The house is also very close to town and to some great hiking trails!

The cabin was just as described and pictured! It is nestled in the woods, very secluded and private. However, it is easily accessible from the main roads. The house had everything you could possibly need for a great stay (never found an ironing board though). The kitchen is well appointed, plenty of towels and paper products provided, the decor is perfect, the tv's worked great, the pool table was a big hit and beds were comfortable! We would definitely recommend!!!

This is a beautiful cabin for a large or small family. Its warm and fully equipped to make you feel at home. There are board games and TV sets in most of the house. The scenery during winter is beautiful, since there are windows surrounding the cabin, you can sit and just watch the snow fall to the ground.

With the weather's help it really was a perfect weekend. Our trip had 8 friends and no complaints. Literally the first morning coffee on the porch had a deer and two doe stroll by. Kitchen provided every pot pan and giant coffee mug for meals and breakfast. The goal was to have a great writers retreat, relax and enjoy the mountains cooler weather. Perfect place to do so. Also fun fact: see how many bears you can count throughout the house.

We took our family of 5 including two teenagers, and my parents with us for the weekend. Everyone had plenty of room and privacy. The linens were soft, pillows were comfortable, and the kitchen fully stocked including some of the oils, spices. Soaps and shampoos were left in the bathrooms, washing detergent for both the dishwasher and washing machine were available for use, towels were plentiful, everything worked and everyone relaxed and had so much fun. We loved this house. Best holiday home ever. We will definitely be staying there again.
