Great Staff and Great Choices
Beautiful cabins nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains... First, I want to thank the staff. In particular, Ms. Rachel, who helped relocate us to a cabin that met our needs and ability to access certain areas (we don't own a 4-wheel drive). She was fantastic and very friendly. We rented the Highlander Cabin and loved it. It was not too far from 421 and a 15 minute drive into Boone. It's also a stone's throw to the Blue Ridge parkway. It's a great location if you wanted to hike (which we did). In summary, great cabin with amenities, great location, and great staff made our stay with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals superb!

Great stay
Highlander cabin was a great choice for our visit to the Boone area. With 4 adults and a two year old it was just the right size. The cabin was spotless and Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was very easy to work with. We hope to return.

FIVE STARS!
We recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend here with our children (3 and 5) and grandparents, and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The cabin is nestled among the Blue Ridge Mountains and the proximity to Boone allowed us easy access to the town's charming attractions. Downtown is an easy and scenic 20 minute drive from the cabin. We grabbed coffee and breakfast at Hatchet Coffee (I recommend the creamy chai latte and breakfast burrito) on our way to Foggy Mountain Gem Mine. The kids and adults had a great time mining and then the workers helped sort and identify the gems. Coming from someone who knew or cared very little about gems, I was surprised how much I enjoyed the process and learning about them. You also have the option to have your gems cut and polished to be made into jewelry and get to keep whatever you find. After that, we had a great lunch and beers at Booneshine Brewing. We had plans to go out for dinner but enjoyed the house so much that we decided to head back to the cabin to build a fire and order delivery through Boone Delivery. We had a great brunch at The Local downtown the next day and didn't have to wait since we got there shortly after opening (11 am). There's also a playground nearby and trails to take a short hike from the house, but we didn't get to use them due to the rain. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable and well-stocked. It's clear that the owners were intentional (and talented) in their decorating and took time stocking the house with everything needed to enjoy a weekend away from home. The surroundings are well maintained and offer a sense of seclusion while also being located within a community. The kitchen is well-equipped with ample counter and storage space, and the open layout of the common areas allowed our family to gather comfortably and spend time together while preparing food and relaxing. The bedrooms were thoughtfully decorated with a touch of mountain charm and the beds and linens were comfortable. Towels, linens, and toiletries/kitchen essentials were provided (each bathroom came with a toiletry box complete with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, makeup wipes, bath salts, and soap). Our kids had an absolute blast playing the Nintendo in the bunk room and enjoyed the board games provided. We adults enjoyed listening to records by the fireplace, taking in the views from the porch, and enjoying some of the great beer that Boone has to offer. Overall, we had a fabulous weekend and Highlander Cabin was a delight for our entire family. We're already planning another stay when the weather warms up a bit.

Great private getaway. There are a few other cabins around you, but they are spread out enough that you'll feel pretty isolated. Blue Ridge Management was very responsive and the check in and out was very easy. It was a little more expensive than others in the area, but you're paying for the privacy and peace and quiet. Plus the cabin looks fairly new and/or remodeled. We would stay again! *I would recommend an AWD/4x4 for the wet and winter months because of the gravel roads and the area in general.*
