Cozy Cottage

The cozy cottage was everything we wanted it to be and more! Beautiful sunrise in front of the cabin every morning! It is a very warm, inviting, super clean and beautifully furnished cabin. The cabin is in an established residential area and is very safe. We enjoyed the pack porch in the morning with our coffee and we grilled steaks one night on the gas grill! It was a fantastic stay and will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cottage in Blowing Rock! The home was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy the fire pit! We used the grill and enjoyed the outdoor deck space! The home was very nice and felt like we were up in the mountains alone. The neighborhood was quiet and the only thing we heard was the Ghost Train at Tweetsie! It was quiet by 10:30PM and brought a little nostalgia back to childhood. Highly recommend this home and would come stay again!

The cabin was just as advertised. It was clean, comfortable and made for a perfect stay. I've never had a problem with any rental property, but I know that the BRMR staff is always available if anything should come up.

We attended a wedding at Appalachian Ski Resort and stayed in the cottage for a couple of days. Everything is brand new, updated, clean and so well put together. This was perfect for our family with an infant and 2.5 year old. The master room was plenty big to fit the bassinet for the baby and the bunk was great for our toddler. We talked about coming back for the ski season and would love to stay at this location again. 10 out of 10 hands down! Oh! And customer service was on point! Our code didn't work when we arrived at 9 PM. With an over tired toddler and hungry infant we were so nervous about someone getting back to us. It's wasn't 2-3 minutes when our call was returned and we were granted access immediately.

This is the second time we've rented this property. A cozy space with everything you need for a mountain getaway - proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, and Boone, a remarkably well-appointed kitchen, outdoor spaces including fire pit and back deck for sipping coffee in the woods, and a quiet road in a small neighborhood of homes. You could walk to Appalachian Ski if that's on your docket! When Tweetsie Railroad is open, you can hear the train whistles when you're outside, but they stop around 10 pm and are not disturbing.

Comfortable and so close to Blowing Rock - nice, quiet neighborhood close to the ski resort and lots of nice touches, such as a fire pit and the most comfortable beds. Just lovely for a stay with my daughter and husband, with a visit too from my nephew and his fiancee from Asheville. We loved exploring Blowing Rock, Linville Falls, and Boone. Would definitely come back.

A great place!!! Private and quiet and the home was very clean and was beautifully decorated and had everything we could have wanted! The king bed was perfect and it is right at Appalachian ski mountain! Really close to Boone and Blowing Rock!! Would truly recommend!!

This property was very clean and convenient to all the major attractions. The house is in a nice neighborhood in the woods. You’re surrounded with mature trees, rhododendrons, rabbits, squirrels, and beautiful birds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Cottage was the perfect place for our family of 4 to go and spend the weekend to ski/snowboard at Appalachian Ski Mountain. The location was amazing, walking distance to lodge! The cottage was super clean, had more than enough dish and laundry detergents, and very comfortable for us all. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This property is adorable. It's just as described on the website. Great outdoor fire pit. Wonderful location next to the Appalachian ski area and downtown blowing rock. Nice porch. It is small but the kitchen and living room are open. We used it for a girls weekend for three people and it worked out great for us.

Everything was done very well. Cozy Cottage was a great spot! The furnishing and setting for the cabin were very, very nicely done.The owner has obviously spent a great deal of time and thought to making the property very enjoyable for guests. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer!

This was the perfect little spot for our family to get away. We have always loved sitting around the fire enjoying each other's company and this house had the perfect spot! The back porch had a gate to the stairs with was helpful for us with small children. The neighborhood is on a circle drive and many are out walking regularly and quite friendly. The house was well equipped with all we needed. It was small but with the open concept we never felt on top of each other. It is a short drive to LOTs of fun attractions like Tweetsie, Blue Ridge Parkway, and many others. As it states in the listing, I would be cautious to rent during winter months as getting there may be a challenge. Parking 2 cars is feasible, more than that could pose a challenge.

Charming retreat! We have a family of 4, went skiing for the weekend. We loved it! Unique style modern farmhouse decoration. Plenty of light with a nice cross ventilation arrangement, Small but comfortable with no wasted space. Outside gathering space suited with a fire pit and a deck with a propane grill ready for any occasion. Like I said we loved it! And planning to visit again !

This was the perfect location for a trip to Appalachian Ski Mountain. Host was very responsive and quickly answered all my questions. The house was clean and had great amenities. There are several grocery stores and restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute drive from the property. Google maps shot us about 100 feet short of the property but it wasn't hard to find. Overall a great experience and would stay here again.
