Breezeway Lodge at Eagles Nest

We stayed at the Breezeway for an end of summer trip to escape the heat and boy did it hit the spot! The house is the most beautiful home we've ever stayed in, everything looked new and the large wrap around deck is where we spent all of our time. The views are jaw dropping and the sweet hummingbirds sipping from the carefully hung feeders made our time outside magical. We felt like we were living above the clouds, in complete peace. The home has everything you need and our child was able to safely scouter out the large wide driveway. What an image that was to see her smiling so big with the mountains behind her. It's clear the owners have thought of children staying with the step by the sink and child's games. Eagles Nest community has everything you would need for a getaway, we enjoyed miniature golf ( free ), an excellent concert ( free ) and numerous parks, playground and tennis courts. I never knew places like this existed in the Carolinas but we will definitely be back now that we know about this well kept secret!

Great long weekend with family. The house is great with beautiful views. Deer come out in the pasture in the evenings. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Breezeway Lodge was the perfect spot for a wonderful mountain getaway! Situated in the center of the Eagle's Nest community, we were close to all of the exclusive amenities offered. The house itself was absolutely amazing. The long range view was the best we've seen in the area. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. The outdoor deck with gas fireplace and space heater allowed us to spend time outside, even in February. The kitchen was stunning and a chef's dream with high-end appliances and mountain view! We loved having the gas fireplace in the living room as well. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay, it's a wonderful house and neighborhood was beautiful, good heads up on the large neighborhood and needing a 4x4, home was new and in pristine shape, very clean, and beautiful views, we highly recommend the stay, it was basically as advertised !!

Such a fun week for us and our family staying at this fabulous house! The views are amazing and we spent many nights on the deck. The kitchen has all of the things we needed. We can't wait to come back.

Bad weather but good times for a Memorial Day weekend/16th birthday celebration. Hiked in the Cone property to the fire tower and to Cascade Falls. Archery and mini-golf at Great Camp. Got in some running but super tough with all the hills. lunches in Blowing Rock and Boone. House was great and the scenery amazing (when we could see it through the fog and clouds).

We had an absolutely amazing time in your stunning home. We went to the archery area and took tons of photos. We played card games and grilled out. Coffee in the AM on the deck was something to look forward to. Your home is pristine and comfy, and we are so appreciative of our time here.

After an incredible 4 days with my 2 daughters, my son-in-law, and 4 energetic grandkids, it is time to leave. The views are spectacular. The memories made will always be cherished. We spotted deer in the backyard, bombfire, and s'mores, sticky fingers, and chocolate faces. your house is so beautiful and well stocked with all the essentials. Cannot wait to come back again.

Breezeway Lodge offers a truly magical guest experience, with unobstructed, breathtaking views and superior accommodations. In the main house, a relaxing great room with stunning professional kitchen to delight the gourmet cook as well as comfortable guest rooms. The unique feature of this property is the carriage house apartment, a short walk across the breezeway from the main house. Open plan with a King size bed and sleeper coach, the carriage house also features a full kitchen, making this ideal accommodations for a group with a chef or nanny in the party, or guests who would like privacy from the main house. This was our families first trip to Eagles Nest. When we left Charlotte, the thermometer informed us that it was 92 degrees (with 75% humidity). After a quick drive, we arrived and found that the humidity had disappeared and the temperature had dropped to a comfortable 74 degrees. The Breezeway Lodge and its sweeping views served as the quintessential base camp to enjoy this welcome change in climate. The property is set up with a separate master suite on top of the garage and across the Breezeway, which was perfect for our multi-generational clan. The Lodge is both well-appointed (think expansive deck, comfortable beds, grill, Blackstone Griddle, fire pits and fire places, pool table, wine cooler, professional quality kitchen, etc.) and centrally located to all of the different amenities that Eagle's Nest and the surrounding area has to offer. Although the Breezeway Lodge has strong Wi-Fi, we didn't end up using it much. Our older son traded in his Nintendo Switch for a steady dose of hiking and archery. Yes, it really is that kind of place. On our last night before heading back home, and with the kids sound asleep, we opened up a nice bottle of wine, sat by the outdoor fireplace, and reflected on the special memories we made as a family. We will be back and staying at the Breezeway Lodge next year.

Our short Labor Day weekend here was awesome! We went hiking and ATV riding and got really muddy. out favorite part of the house was the back porch and the fireplaces. We played cards all night out there! We loved watching the hummingbirds and seeing tons of deer. if you would like a nice dinner, make reservations to Stonewalls! An eventful week for sure: hiking, golf, white water rafting, fly fishing, UTVing, walks, runs, deer, momma bear and her three cubs, fire pits, morning coffee on the back deck and grilling out almost every night. We did all the things. The is our 10th year in this area, but first year in a new cabin/house, Breezeway Lodge. Previous 9 years in Blowing Rock. We ate lunches at our fav places (best pizza) Lost Province in Boone, Speckled Trout in Blowing Rock, Local Lion in Boone. The cabin was great. Great amenities, beautiful kitchen, comfy beds, and loved the back deck. We even saw Darius Rucker in his UTV on property. Fun times! Adding to our NC memories for sure!

We had such a wonderful time here with our family during the two weeks. We bought a hummingbird feeder for the back deck which we are leaving for future enjoyment. Our two boys enjoyed taking photos of the hummingbirds every day. We have loved coming to Eagles Nest the last four years and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here at Breezeway Lodge. We look forward to coming back again.
