Boles Lodge

This getaway cabin could not have been more perfect! You are at one with nature, as no other cabins block your view! It snowed while we're were here, and the outdoor fireplace on the deck was like being in a Hallmark movie! Snow, roaring fire, s'mores and steaming hot tub! What more could you ask for? The kitchen table is massive and seated everyone! Playing board games and sharing laughs around this table makes for great family memories. The location of this house was very central and close to literally anywhere you wanted to go! We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend you to my clients! Thanks for a memorable mini vacay!

The cabin was so close to Boone, made it very easy for us to travel that weekend. The space was amazing and really liked the atmosphere, couches were super comfy and we used the bluetooth speaker inside to play music. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived and easy check-in/check-out. There was a little drop coming into the driveway so maybe some more gravel to fix that would be great, but otherwise, everything else was fantastic. We sat on the back deck for a while one afternoon enjoying all the chirps the birds had to offer. Will definitely stay here again with another large group.

Our visit to your rental was great. There were 9 of us ranging in age from 7 to 82. There was plenty of room for all of us and the cabin was well kept. We all enjoyed our visit there.

We stayed at Boles Lodge for the weekend of a family memorial service. The space was a welcoming, comforting place, and the togetherness we experienced here was a silver lining in a hard weekend. The surroundings were serene, the living room was spacious, the kitchen was equipped, and the outdoor seating area was a great spot for us to gather around the fire.

We had a fantastic time at Boles Lodge! Plenty of room for us all to spread out both inside and on the deck; extremely well appointed in terms of kitchen gear, extra blankets and towels etc; and super convenient to walking/hiking trails, downtown Blowing Rock, grocery stores, and breweries/wineries. Loved the area and the house - highly recommend!

We love Boles Lodge and appreciate how easy Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals is to work with. But back to Boles Lodge. It’s the perfect place for a girl’s weekend, a family gathering, or a relaxing couples retreat! I love this place (we’ve been 5 years in a row!) and have loved every visit.

First of all, the cabin itself was immaculate, roomy, fun, accommodating, and well stocked. We loved the huge dining room table, the ping pong table and the hot tub! Second of all, the location was ideal! Half way between Boone and Blowing Rock. We went out every day with the four grand daughters for all day adventures! I personally loved the landscaping around the front of the cabin - we made fairy homes and set up a badminton net. The rhododendron bushes were blooming all around the driveway and yard. I stay in 2 -3 cabins every year and this is by far the best yet!

We made a family spring break trip and found the home to be just perfect. Plenty of sleeping and hangout space, perfectly outfitted. Location is an easy trip to Boone and downtown Blowing Rock. We hope to be back!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway here. Really enjoyed having the big space for meals and hanging out around the fire. It was cozy and warm on a cold weekend. The hot tub was great too! All in all a great find.

We love the house we rented from blue ridge mountain rentals. The company was very accommodating and always very helpful when calling for questions. The Boles lodge was a beautiful home that was well kept and very clean. It had beautiful views and our family had a wonderful time there. It was a great home with a great game room and spacious rooms and a well equipped kitchen With a large dining table that fit everyone. We will be back.

Our family enjoyed this very unique family gathering place. Beautiful views of the mountains and woods, a great deck for hanging out, family time in the large living area as well as a great game room downstairs which was a favorite with the teens. We all enjoyed the large dining table to gather around as well as all the options for quiet places to nap and read. We would definitely book this home again!

Great spot in Boone/Blowing Rock. This is coming from some ASU grads who know the area well and have been returning yearly for 20+ years. This house is awesome. Great location and favorite rental yet. Spacious house with a great kitchen, floor plan, and outdoor fireplace. We've rented 5 or so properties over the last 20 years and this was the best!!

Our family gathered for our daughter's graduation from Appalachian State. We had 9 people staying in our group and we never felt crowded. We love the location at the top of the hill. It felt like we were deep in the mountains while only minutes from Boone and Blowing Rock. Since this was a busy graduation weekend, we avoided downtown and cooked all meals at the house. The kitchen was stocked beyond our expectations for utensils and cooking equipment. With our daughter's friends visiting we took advantage of the pool table, foos ball table and especially the ping pong table!! I was the only one using hot tub and I am glad as it was my retreat. Great spot, great house and thanks for the chance to stay. This will be our go to location as my daughter is also enrolled at ASU for grad school.

The house is beautiful and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and overall our stay was great. The house is easy to get to, be mindful of the turns off of the main highway they can sneak up on you. We would absolutely stay here again.

This place was awesome and clean! The hot tub was great and everything was very clean. I would recommend four wheel drive, we did not have it and thankfully there was only a little bit of snow!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Boles Lodge this past Christmas. There were 10 of us, 6 adults, 4 kids. The layout of the house is ideal with a big center space for family to gather, and a wonderful large dining table. We built a fire every night with wood provided by Blue Ridge Rentals. The adults got in the hot tub on super cold evenings and you could see the glow from App Mountain resort. We got snowed in on Xmas eve! Just a wonderful house and fantastic service from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals!

Blue Ridge has EXCELLENT customer service! Questions answered promptly, concerns addressed immediately, kind/considerate. Cindy was amazing!! The home itself exceeded our expectations in every way and created beautiful memories for our trip to the Blowing Rock/Boone area. The home was clean, beds super comfortable, amenities were as listed, and when the washer needed repairing within 24 hours of our trip, Blue Ridge and the owners made it happen promptly!! Working with the Blue Ridge staff was SO EASY...I understand why they're a "Super Host" on AirBnB!! I WOULD RESERVE THIS HOME AGAIN AND AGAIN!

We had a wonderful stay for my wife's 35th birthday. The cabin was beautiful. We really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor fireplace. The house also has wonderful views, but was not as hard to access as other places we have stayed. We would definitely stay again.

We spent a moms weekend away at Boles Lodge and loved every second. The location to close to restaurants and places to pick up needed supplies but far enough away to enjoy a wonderful mountain weekend. The king bed gave me the best sleep I've ever had. Thanks again- we hope to be back next year!

We have been doing an annual friends trips to the mountains of North Carolina for 7 years and this property is our new favorite. Pros: - Great location. The cabin felt totally secluded but was a just a few minutes from town. - The hot tub was big, clean and worked. (the first cabin to ever check all three boxes) - The indoor/outdoor fireplace was great. Did smores one night. - The main sitting area was nice and big and didn't have a TV as the center point of the room. - The dining room table was huge and had plenty of room for everybody and some - The downstairs game room was really nice and had two space heaters built into the wall so we stayed nice and toasty - Master bedroom and bathroom was awesome. I kind of felt bad for having such a sweet room but I did book the place so.... - The trash cans were right at the house and didn't require us to travel to the dump at the end of the stay. Cons (my first thought was none but I did stretch it to get one) - It would have been nice if there were curtains for the windows going out to the deck in the master bedroom. Not a big deal at all. Overall, just a fantastic house and we look forward to coming back. If you are looking for a great place for a large group without spending crazy money this is your house.

We had a wonderful stay! We were a group of 11 close friends who needed a week away in the mountains to relax & recharge, and that's exactly what we did! The house was wonderfully stocked and had plenty of room for all of our planned activities. There is absolutely no shortage of things to do in the area, and everyone in our group was able to find something that interested them!

Was a great place to hold our cousin-get-together. The best thing was the dining table was large enough for everyone to sit at enjoy our meals together. Game room was so much fun for the 50-something kids! We will definitely be back!

The cabin is perfect! Large ground floor open space for hanging out, the HUGE wood table for playing cards and having a few, and the doors leading out to the deck and outdoor fireplace for more socializing. We had a great time and are thinking of coming back! Had some minor garbage left outside the property but the office and maintenance were very accommodating and the cabin didn't suffer for it. The basement is where it's at, with pool, ping pong, and foosball we did not suffer for entertainment! Great property and would definitely come back!

My family thanks Blue Ridge for the service for our get-together at Boles Lodge. Was a most enjoyable place. Very comfortable and serviceable for our family of 10. Very convenient to both Blowing Rock and Boone. We were blessed to be visited every day by a doe and 2 fawns. Our youngest,Katie, was so fascinated. Too, we were visited by 4 wild turkeys. Other surprises included 3 fly-overs by a military jet. Figured there must have been something going on at the stadium at App State. Only thing, the 1st one was so low that my son actually ducked as he was out on the deck. In the many years that I had visited my grandparents, I had never been to "Horn in the West", so we went. Interesting, to say the least. But the most exciting part was a visit by a skunk to the audience - twice. We froze and felt lucky that it was not startled into doing "something." It passed within 5 feet of us, and went on its way. We could tell where it was by the stirring of heads, a low hum of voices, and the quick movement to different seats by some. Had quite a laugh, later. Bless you and your people for all they did to make our stay so very nice.

Gorgeous house, beautiful area, close to everything! The house is breathtaking. With our large family there was plenty of room for everyone! We made good use of the outdoor fireplace, grill and hot tub! The location is perfect! Close to Blowing Rock, Boone and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hoping to go back again soon!

Beautiful cabin for a group. Large, very well equipped kitchen to prepare meals. Dining table for 10+ guest. Weather was uncooperative, but we stayed busy in the game room. Hot tub was great for our weary bones after traveling to see a few of the destinations we had come to the area for; Grandfather mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Much to our surprise at checkout time your maintenance people were shoveling our steps and driveway, cleared the road during the snow storm for our safe departure. Kudos for a job well done.
