Great stay with my pup for a few days of cooler weather

Just my wife, our dog and me made it very relaxing especially afternoons on the screened porch listening to the babbling waters. Once in a while it is good to leave the kids and grandkids for a few days and have a peaceful romantic getaway with just your spouse. You owe it to each other.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin sitting right on a small fork of the New River. We even tubed from the cabin down to the Payne Branch park, definitely recommend doing that, a short and easy tube ride and you can walk back along the road.

Crazy how we were tucked away and felt like we were in a remote spot but 1.4 miles from Downtown Boone. We are planning to stay all month July 2025.

We loved our stay at Angler's cottage! The cottage was comfy, well stocked and close to restaurants / attractions. Check in was easy and relevant information easily accessible when needed. We'd stay at Angler's cottage again and seek out blue ridge mountain rentals again for other accommodations.

We had the best time and the cottage was perfect! It is close to everything but feels secluded. We loved being right on the water- it was so relaxing to hear the babbling and rippling stream. My husband loves to fly fish and it was so nice for him to walk right out and fish- he caught a ton just in the little stretch of water in front of the house. It's cozy and well-decorated. The beds are super comfy, with good pillows. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything needed to make meals. The hot tub was nice and clean- it was great to get in after hiking. We were there celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and will definitely be back for a weekend get-away soon! We loved our stay at the appropriately named Angler's Cottage!

The location for our visits to this area is perfect. Close to family and friends who live in the area yet secluded enough for us to still feel like we are getting away. The house had all we needed for a couple of days. The creek and hot tub are so nice.

One of the coolest places we have stayed. We were up for Family Weekend and it was so relaxing to come back after the game and soak in the hot tub and then watch more college football at night by the fire. Out daughters enjoyed hanging out with us as well at the house, so that was a plus! Will rent again.

First of all I would say that we have used VRBO for many rentals over the years, the Blue Ridge team is the most efficient and professional we have delt with over the years. Every step was easy and well controlled, from initial contact to the key for access to the property. The property was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable with adequate parking. It is secluded and quiet with the exception of the bubbling river running past the rear of the house which was really pleasant. The location, although secluded is close to downtown Boone and we appreciated Publix for grocery shopping. Blowing Rock is also close by which has a lovely downtown with lots of good restaurants. We used the jacuzzi almost every late afternoon with our pre-dinner drinks, so relaxing. It was also nice to have a welcome for our Yorkie who made himself right at home. The internet contact is first class as was the numerous TV selection including You Tube, You Tube TV, Peacock and more, reception was perfect. Also tried fishing in the river, caught four small trout which was fun, all catch and release. Hope to return again sometime in the future.

We quite enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very cute and clean, and you can’t beat the river and hot tub. The fireplace was also fantastic. Will definitely stay again!

The cabin was exactly perfect for a weekend getaway. The best location right between Boone and Blowing Rock, beautiful interiors, and incredible location right on a little river. We are already making plans to go back!

We had a great time at our stay! The cabin was cozy and decorated very well. Serviceable kitchen for cooking. The stream running by the cabin is lovely. Only about 5 minutes away from Boone and about 10 minutes away from Blowing Rock, very easy drive to both areas.

My husband and I stayed a couple of nights to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage was a perfect size for the 2 of us. Also, the location was awesome; a couple minutes to Boone and a quick drive to Blowing Rock. We loved having coffee down by the river to listen to the water flow. Great getaway!

Lovely setting on a babbling brook and very quiet little street. Peaceful and tranquil location. Nicely furnished, updated bathroom, well-appointed kitchen. Our dog loved the brook and sitting at the fire pit. Great place for a romantic get-away.

This is a beautiful cottage on the river with everything you need for a great stay in the mountains! Our Golden Doodle had more fun than anyone!!!! Eclectic decor and convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock and local greenways/trails. Hot tub was a must after spending some time in the cool waters of the river!

This adorable cabin was perfect for my husband, my adult daughter and our two dogs. We spent our time on the porch or by the fire, listening to the water babbling by in the creek. Exactly what we were looking to do in the mountains. So close to Blowing Rock and Boone, too.

Cute place. large stream right behind the house was nice and would be great in the summer. We were here for some skiing. It is about 10 minutes from App Ski Mountain. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Quiet location.

Adorable home in the perfect location between Boone and Blowing Rock. Anglers Cottage is located on a dead end street so it is very quiet and peaceful and the creek running behind the house is an added bonus! The house is beautifully decorated and all the furniture was comfortable. We had a great stay at Anglers Cottage and can't wait to visit again.

It was cold and rainy part of the time we were there but it's very cozy. Convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock. When outside the river is right there with a nice little waterfall and the sound of running water!
