Thank you for this amazing place to stay. Our grandmother enjoyed the big "tree chair". We all loved your gorgeous balcony with amazing views!! You've built a gorgeous cabin, and we hope to come back someday as it fit our big family of 13 people!

We had a wonderful stay at A Bears Eye View while our daughter was having her first baby! This home was so close to the hospital! As always, Blue Ridge makes sure the homes are clean and stocked on the toiletries that we may need. The distance from the ski slopes and the abundance of beds in this home, make it the perfect ski weekend getaway for a large family! The hot tub is a plus after a day on the slopes too! Parking is tricky for multiple cars but you can make it work. The kids enjoyed the pool table area and it was so nice to have the master on the main floor away from the other bedrooms. Thanks again for a great property!

This has been our BEST family vacation ever! Bee and JoJo needed time with their 2 children, son in laws, and 3 grandchildren and we certainly got it at Birds Eye View. We spent every evening on the back deck watching the sun set and welcomed each morning sunrise as well. The kitchen was perfect and so well equipped - we didn't lack for a thing. You can tell that his cabin fosters love! We will look forward to coming back soon!

We had an amazing time at Bears Eye View! We had a group of 9 adults and 2 children that gathered to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. The house was gorgeous and the perfect size for us. Plenty of open spaces to gather in smaller groups; large back porches (yes, there are 2!) with a hot tub and grill, family room with a pool table, large dining room table, outdoor fire pit, and an open kitchen that allowed those who were cooking/preparing meals to join in on conversation. We enjoyed every amenity the house offered and everything was in excellent condition. The house was neat and tidy, and all those bathrooms allowed everyone to get up and ready in a reasonable timeframe. We really appreciated the first floor master bedroom with a king size bed. My father is 6'2" and has difficulties using the stairs so he was able to stay on the main floor and just walk out of his bedroom to gather with everyone in the living room/kitchen. It was a breeze to gain access to the house and I always received a prompt response when we had questions and requested a later check out time. Of course the very best part of this house was the view! We will remember this trip for a very long time.

What a beautiful house. Loved the layout, hot tub was wonderful. The kitchen is fully stocked & even has extra things like spices, dishwasher tabs, trash bags extra toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, & a hair dryer. I wished we could have used fire pit but there was high winds that weekend. Would definitely recommend this house for a friends or family getaway. Thank you so much

This place was great for our ladies trip. As females we are very particular about cleanliness, yet this location was spectacular! We had no complaints. The hot tub and fire pit made the stay that much more amazing. Be careful if you don't have a 4WD because one of our cars almost couldn't get out the driveway.

All four kids were on the slopes this year and their instructors were great. We think they will be on the hard core slope next year! All our kids are super skiers! The cabin was located in a a great spot to enaccommodations ridge mountain views and have easy access to skiing locations. Our family of eleven whose ages ranged from 14to 74 found the accommodations and amenities to be exceptional. We would recommend it to anyone planning a similar trip.

Everything was perfect from the moment I sent in a request to rent this property. Simple and Easy! We had 14 in our party with 3 dogs and we never felt crowded or cramped. The cabin is stocked with all the essentials and easy to find. Beds are comfortable and plenty of blankets for the cold windy nights. My family and I enjoyed every minute and would love to return again soon. Would definitely recommend!

This home was as lovely as the pictures. Easily accommodated four couples. The views were awesome. The location was great for shopping and touring the Blue Ridge Parkway. The kitchen had all the pots/pans and utensils needed. Wood was provided for the firepit. The beds were comfortable and the home was spotless.

This home was lovely- pictures on the website are true to life. The views were awesome! Easily parked 4 cars and could have easily parked another one without blocking the neighbor's drive. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds comfortable. Easily accommodated 4 couples with room to spare. The pick up and drop off of the keys after hours worked like a charm. House was within 2 miles of a Food Lion and close to the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We decided to do a friends trip this year. It will certainly be a tradition. We normally camp each year but the amenities of the cabins were wonderful! Happy new year! Wow what a weekend! My husband posted a surprise party with all of my college best D’s and spouses. We enjoyed the hot tub and 5° weather with icicles in our curls. We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation and your beautiful home. Our family travel from all over North Carolina to be together a Bears iview was perfect. The two living areas accommodated our large family so well. We love your game tables and the hot tub! The location of your cabin is perfect because we could travel to blowing rock, the parkway, and price park quickly! What a great escape from our normal! Our family from Wilmington met our family from Ohio for a long weekend at A Bears Eye View. Explored the majesty of Grandfather Mountain, the kitschy fun of Tweetsie Railroad, and tamed the Nolichucky on a whitewater trip. Mostly though, we connected with family members we only see once a year- playing Dominoes, Balderdash, and Chinese Checkers. We loved this place! Living in the clouds, beautiful sunrises, and a hot tub under the stars- what more could you ask for?

Loved this place. Well furnished for the most part, with bear decor on absolutely everything. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and shooting pool. The Foosball was missing, so we couldn't use that table, but we didn't mind. Modern televisions in every room and a well stocked kitchen. The views are amazing, and it's very close to Blowing Rock and Boone, so we had easy trips to Grandfather Mtn. and Tweetsie Railroad. I highly recommend this place if you have a big family.

What an amazing and beautiful spot in the mountains . The extended Malone family came for a family reunion in Blowing Rock and had a wonderful time. The house had plenty of room to host 3 generations for dinner. The sunsets were stunning off the back deck. We had an absolutely FABULOUS stay at A Bear's Eye View. It is a wonderful house with lots and lots of amenities. It was spotlessly clean and almost perfectly stocked. The hot tub was awesome, we had no issues with the refrigerator. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and loved the home and setting. Our family, my husband and I, our son, his wife and 3 children and my daughter and her husband had plenty of room and beds. We enjoyed being able to have tvs for anyone who wanted to watch anything at any time. The hot tub was a huge success. The view amazing, The pool table, foosball, decks and fire pit were enjoyed. We all agreed that this is the best house and the best area for vacation that we have ever had as a family. We thought we loved the Smokies and Maggie Valley, but we are now HUGE Blowing Rock fans. I just cannot say enough. It was fabulous! Our experience with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was the most positive ever. Every contact with every person and every email, phone call, check in through the black mail box and check out with the drop box were all flawless. What else can I say?!?!! We did, indeed, have a wonderful stay at The Bear's Eye View! We loved the house and the awesome mountain view. I was able to watch the sun rise one morning over the mountains--God's grandeur for certain.

Almost Heaven- Blue Ridge Mountains at A Bear's Eye View! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place with us. Beautiful home, fabulous view and great town. The grounds and gardens are lush and fragrant. When you walk out the front door, the scent of lilies and rhododendrons fill the air with a sweet smell of spring! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!! It was like a second honeymoon!!

Beautiful house and view! We really enjoyed our time with our group of friends and children- this is an annual trip, but the first mountain house that has had a fire pit and hot tub, which we used every day! Thank you for a perfect place for our vacation! Also loved the convenience of being so close to downtown Blowing Rock and Boone!

A lovely place for our large group. The view was Beautiful!! It was great being so close to Appalachian Ski Mountain and bringing in the New Year seeing their fireworks from our porch! PS: Our grandchildren from Florida wanted to see snow and it was Great! God Bless
